British-born Samantha Jones has been moving up in the international fashion industry ever since she began her career 13 years ago. After graduating from Central Saint Martin’s in London with a degree in Fashion Design with Marketing and Management, she began working for top high street retailers, including Zara, LC Waikiki (market leader in Turkey) and C&A as Head of Design for its 19 markets.

She is currently Global Design Director of the women’s, men’s, children’s and home collections for Primark. Samantha and her teams are particularly proud to see their designs being worn every day by people all over the world – and in the big fashion magazines, such as Grazia, Elle and Look.  

Samantha is committed to investing in and encouraging new talent. She has dedicated the last six years of her career to developing what she calls strong, quick-thinking creatives – and looks forward to spotting the “next big thing” in the European YCC 2012 finals this summer.
