Applied art students across Europe may all be heading into summer break, but some have yet another reason to celebrate: YCC 2011 national winners are reaping the rewards of their hard work and starting to gear up for the next round.
National winners honored
In the record-high 22 participating YCC countries, the names of the YCC 2011 national winners are being revealed or will be in the coming days. Between the news hitting the local media and festive award nights – some of which have been captured on Flickr – YCC 2011 winners are clearly enjoying themselves.
As for the fabulous work itself, you might be able to catch a glimpse on Flickr or check back here the week of June 27th, when all of the winning projects – notably those that will be heading to the European jury deliberations – will be posted.
Once again, we would like to thank the tireless members of the esteemed YCC 2011 national juries for their hard work and invaluable perspective.
European jury deliberations to begin
YCC 2011 national winners in each discipline automatically qualify for the European YCC 2011 finals, which will bring together an all-star jury in Porto, Portugal starting July 1st. Based on experience, a weekend of intense deliberations and passionate debate is guaranteed.
