The fun begins at 155
25 Apr 2011Now that the project deadline has come and gone, it’s official. This year’s YCC competition received the highest number of registrants in its five-year history, with a whopping 155 applied arts schools taking part. Art students across Europe are reportedly happy to have their projects behind them and get back to their normal lives. As for YCC, well, the hard work is just beginning.
In May, YCC 2011 moves into the national jury deliberations, where three winners in a maximum of five disciplines – fashion, photography, music, video and visual arts – will be selected. The national juries, made up of well-known professionals from the relevant fields and senior Chevrolet representatives, will be announcing winners in June.
In July, the top national winner in each discipline will go on to the European competition. YCC is proud to confirm that senior-level managers from Sony Music, Fashion TV, Rai Uno and It’s Nice That will be joining the YCC 2011 European jury. Others will be announced shortly.
Congratulations to the brave and talented souls who are participating in YCC 2011…and stay tuned for more!
