Kicking Off 2010
02 FebDear YCC students, professors, jury members and fans,
This is my first update in 2010 so even though it’s the start of February and the holiday season is long gone, I’d like to wish you a Happy New Year.
Rachel, Franziska and I recently met with Amina and Clemence from our communications agency, and Remo and Gabriela from our web agency and we got off to a great start with our 2010 Young Creative Chevrolet planning. We went through all aspects of the competition: potential jury members, witness trips for the winners, locations for the awards ceremony, and much, much more. There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to make the competition run smoothly and provide the best possible experience for students and schools taking part.
As I mentioned, we spent some time discussing possible locations for the next awards ceremony which, in the past, has been held in Paris, Turin and most recently, Berlin. For those of you that attended the event in Berlin or for those of you that would just like a taster, here are some highlights from the evening.
A couple of places that we’ve discussed holding the next ceremony are London and Amsterdam. Both are culturally very interesting with many activities and attractions to entertain visitors. However, I’d really like to hear your opinion. Please go to the Young Creative Chevrolet Facebook page and tell us what European city and/or location you’d prefer and the reasons why. We're open to all suggestions and I look forward to hearing from you.
Until the next time,
Florence
