Chevrolet offered the winners in each discipline the opportunity to participate in a witness trip and discover Chevrolet »behind the scenes« and experience Professionals in their field at work.
For the 2009 Europe an winners in Visual Arts:
In July 2009, the winning Visual Arts student was invited to spend two full days with the Chevrolet World Touring Car. Championship (WTCC ) race team and witness her design featured on driver Alain Menu’s Chevrolet Cruze at the WTCC races in Porto, Portugal.
For the 2009 European winners in Photography:
In August 2009, the winning Photography students were invited to Zurich, Switzerland, to work alongside French automotive and people photographer Dingo on a series of photos featuring the new Chevrolet Spark mini car and aimed at the European lifestyle and consumer media.
For the 2009 Europe an winners in Video:
In October 2009, the winning Video students were invited to Berlin, Germany, to work with a professional video team on a making-of video of the creation of a Chevrolet Spark city car customized by Berlin fashion designer Mischa Woeste of Smeilinener.
For the 2009 Europe an winners in Fashion:
In October 2009, the winning Fashion student was invited to Berlin, Germany, to meet Mischa Woeste of Smeilinener, who gave the student a thorough insight into her work as a fashion designer. The winner also witnessed the preparations for the customization of a Chevrolet Spark by Smeilinener.
For the 2009 European winners in Music:
In September 2009, the winning Music student was invited to Rome, Italy, to work with well-known sound designer and 2009 European jury member Jason Piccioni on a new recording of the winning music project to be used at the 2009 Award Ceremony. The recording took place at Forum Music Village, the studio of choice for major international artists and soundtrack projects alike.
