The winners of the 4th Young Creative Chevrolet competition have just been officially announced!
The European jury panel got together at the weekend in Belgium and have selected the European winners in Visual Arts.
Well, the 2010 entries have been submitted and all national juries have met, deliberated and chosen their winners. All that remains is for the European jury to select their overall favourites and that will happen in just ten days from now.
Romania joined the Young Creative Chevrolet in 2009 taking part in a single category, music. This year, the participants filed projects for three categories: music, video and photography.
Around 100 guests of the schools of applied arts and art academies taking part waited with great anticipation for the Young Creative Chevrolet Switzerland official awards ceremony in the L’Atlantic cinema in Lausanne. A celebration worthy of the occasion then took place accompanied by a fashion show put on by the participating Canvas school from Lausanne.
The Young Creative Chevrolet Solvenia jury has chosen Ursa Kacar to represent them at the European final. A glitzy fashion show was organized in the shopping mall, City Park, in cooperation with textile trade company Sportina to showcase the finalists. While the jury was deliberating, guests and shopping mall visitors had the chance to listen prominent singer Massimo.
On May 20, the German Young Creative Chevrolet winners were honoured at the national award ceremony in Frankfurt/Main. The event took place at a very special location, high above the rooftops of Frankfurt, at the Skylounge of Roomers Design Hotel.
