Jungeun’s creativity often strikes in bed, just before she falls asleep. The darkness and calm help her concentrate. When she has a good idea, she writes keywords on her phone to remember her fabulous ideas the next day. “Sometimes, if I’m lucky, I dream of the ideas I was thinking about before falling asleep”.
Daniel Kovács describes himself as multicultural, curious, humble, humorous and positive, which is totally reflected in his sunny, catchy style of music.
Right now Daniel is on vacation – relaxing and working as a freelance graphic designer. He is travelling, taking pictures and writing songs for his own band which is probably why he lists his sketchbook, mobile phone with voice recording function and his digital SLR amongst his treasured possessions. The Portuguese student recently scooped first place in the Young Creative Chevrolet Visual Arts European final. His fiery design “Let the sparks come out” wowed the judges with its edgy and aggressive design. The European jury panel got together at the weekend in Belgium and have selected the European winners in Visual Arts.
Well, the 2010 entries have been submitted and all national juries have met, deliberated and chosen their winners. All that remains is for the European jury to select their overall favourites and that will happen in just ten days from now.
Romania joined the Young Creative Chevrolet in 2009 taking part in a single category, music. This year, the participants filed projects for three categories: music, video and photography.
