Sheherzad Kaleem is a freelance documentary filmmaker who resides in London. She completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, USA in Economics and Fine Arts and acquired her Master's degree from New York University, USA in journalism and documentary.
She has worked on some short documentaries and news type programming in the US and Pakistan. Currently, she is working on a film project in the UK, which has been funded by the Department for International Development (DFID).
Shehrzad's first documentary film called 'I...am a woman' was screened at festivals in New York and Karachi and it also received the Gracie Allen Award in the student category in the USA.
Prior to working in documentary, she worked as a strategic planner for Interflow Advertising (Ogilvy and Mather affiliate) in Pakistan, working on brands such as Pepsi, Tang, Castrol etc.
