Chevrolet provides a stage for young talents at its Spark of Fashion night

Chevrolet's Spark of Fashion night at the Kosmos movie theater in Berlin, Germany, on October 29, provided a stage for many young talents in fashion, music, video, photography and visual arts with the evening celebrating the winners of the Young Creative Chevrolet 2009 arts contest.

One of the highlights of the evening was a fashion show by Berlin fashion designer, Mischa Woeste, of Smeilinener. But forget wedding dresses, the last model featuring on the catwalk in this show was a unique interpretation of the all new Chevrolet Spark.

During the evening, guests were also invited to vote for their three favorites out of 13 creative sticker projects, developed by arts students in a two-day graphic design workshop. The workshop was jointly organized by Chevrolet, Mediadesign Hochschule in Berlin and the giraffentoast design studio. The first 100 Spark customers in Germany will be able to choose one of the three winning stickers and have them applied to their new car for free.

Finishing the evening with a spark, Norwegian singer and songwriter Marit Larsen gave a pre-premiere, private concert before her tour of Germany.

The 14 winning students of the 2008 Young? Creative? Chevrolet! competition were honored at the National Museum of Cinema in the renowned dome of the Mole Antonelliana in Turin, Italy – the World Design Capital 2008.
